10:30 am – 11:45 am – “The Playwright and the Theatre Critic”, discussion by playwrights Albee, Anderson and Lawrence, and Richard Coe (critic emeritus of The Washington Post) and Dan Sullivan (former theater critic of The Los Angeles Times). $10, $5 students.

1:30 pm – 3:00 pm – Staged reading of Inge’s one-act play “The Love Death” by veteran character actor Ray Sticklyn, followed by panel discussion with Stricklyn, Sullivan, Laura Chandler and Ralph Voss. Free.

3:00 pm – 4:30 pm – Scholars’ conference on Inge’s works, including papers from Therese Jones, Jeff Loomis, Thomas Adler, Mark Estrin, Roger Gross and Patricia Relph. Free.

7:30 pm – “Tribute to Edward Albee”, play excerpts and multimedia celebration of playwright Albee, who will be presented with the William Inge Award for Lifetime Achievement in the American Theatre. Actors will include George Gizzard, who played Nick in the Broadway staging of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” $15, tickets limited.
